The PPORA Club Members CONDITIONS Race (Level 1), for Veteran and Novice Riders, 3m, 12st
For a CHALLENGE TROPHY and Mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider
PRIZE MONEY: 1st £210, 2nd £110, 3rd £80. Total Prize Fund £400.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: For horses which are owned and ridden by current members of the PPORA; Owners and Riders must be an eligible member of the PPORA by declaration of the horse. For information on how to satisfy these conditions, please refer to www.ppora.co.uk; for riders who are either (i) aged 40 years or over at declaration, or (ii) who, up to 1st October 2023, have won not more than five races under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (including Point-to-Points).
PENALTIES: For each win on or since 1st October 2023 in a Steeplechase or Hurdle race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted) to carry 7lb extra; for each win in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point in this period to carry 5lb extra, and for each win in a Conditions race at the same Level or higher (to include Confined, Club Association, Service or Society Point-to-Point races) in this period to carry 3lb extra. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb. Penalties are cumulative.

For Mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider
PRIZE MONEY: 1st £210, 2nd £110, 3rd £80. Total Prize Fund £400
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: For horses which have won up to 2 Conditions/Intermediate races of which only one may be an Intermediate race.
PENALTIES: A previous winner of an Intermediate race or Conditions race at any Level, to include Confined, Club Association, Service or Society Point-to-Point races (Maiden, Restricted and Hunt races excepted) to carry 5lb extra. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb. Penalties are cumulative.

The MIXED OPEN Race, 3m, 11st7lb
For the a CHALLENGE CUP to winning Owner; TREACLE TART CUP to first horse owned by Belvoir Farmer; and Mementoes to winning Owner and Rider
PRIZE MONEY: 1st £280, 2nd £130, 3rd £90. Total Prize Fund £500.
ALLOWANCES: Riders who, prior to the Thursday before the date of this Point-to-Point Steeplechase, have not ridden more than 5 winners under the Rules of Racing or the Rules of a recognised Racing Authority, Point-to-Point Steeplechases or Arabian Horse Races; 5lb.
PENALTIES: Penalties apply for wins on or since 1st October 2023 in an eligible Steeplechase or Hurdle race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted) or in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point; for one such win 3lb extra; for two such wins 5lb for three or more such wins 7lb; maximum total penalty to be carried is 7lb.

The Ladies CONDITIONS Race (Level 2), 3m, 11st

SPECIAL CONDITIONS: For horses which on or since 1st October 2022 have not won any race under the rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted); nor any Men’s, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Points in this period; to be ridden by Ladies.
PENALTIES: For each win on or since 1st October 2022 in a Conditions race at the same Level or higher (to include Confined, Club Association, Service or Society Point-to-Point races) to carry 3lb extra. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb. Penalties are cumulative.
