The first fixture of the new Midlands season will be at Revesby Park on 19th January 2020 and the Committee are pleased to announce some changes to the course.
Revesby is a square course of about 1 mile in length, set in old parkland near Boston, im Lincolnshire.
For the 2020 renewal the course will run left-handed with 18 efforts in total.
The undulations on the northern straight have been levelled. There is a Fibre sand surface through the trees after fence 1 for approx 200yds, which runs well.
A recent schooling feedback session saw riders trying out the course with a few fences – all agreed it was much better with the course reversed.
The new course direction results in an uphill climb to fences 2 (8, 14) and a gentle downhill section to 5 (11,17). The portable fences were brand new in 2017, and are inviting big and well built.
Public viewing of the whole course is very good, with the start and finish in front of the crowd.
