Brocklesby Meeting 2021

The following is a statement from the Brocklesby Point-to-point committee:
It is looking ever more likely that Covid-19 restrictions of whatever nature and severity will continue into early 2021 and thus affect mass spectator gatherings such as our point to point.
As this would be our 200th anniversary meeting we clearly would prefer it to be as close as possible to the ‘normal’, sociable and enjoyable day that we are used to. This seems doubtful.
Against that background, and after weighing up the pros & cons, on balance the Brocklesby Estate has decided that it won’t be running the February 2021 meeting, and instead will look to celebrate the bicentenary of steeplechasing at Brocklesby in March 2022 when – we hope – circumstances will have returned to normal.
