The series consists of 12 sponsored PPORA Club Members races for Novice Riders, in which the first four horses and riders past the post become eligible for the Series Final at the Melton Hunt Club at Garthorpe on Sunday, 8th May 2016. In addition, all other races in the Pointing calendar which have a Novice Rider condition (up to and including Sunday, 1st May) offer a place in the Final to the first three horses and riders past the post.
