  • The Brocklesby HUNT MEMBERS, SUBSCRIBERS & FARMERS Race, 12st

    For the COUNTESS OF YARBOROUGH CHALLENGE CUP and replica to the winning Owner; a Memento to the winning Rider; the LINCOLNSHIRE GRASS DRIERS CUP for the first horse past the post carrying 14st or over.
    1st £170, 2nd £80, 3rd £50.
    For Horses qualified during the current season with the Brocklesby Hunt, undertaking a minimum of 4 days Hunting (to include Autumn Hunting). To be ridden by Ladies or Gentlemen, their respective spouses or children, who are members or subscribers of the Brocklesby Hunt.
    A winner of a Hunt Members or Maiden Race to carry 3lb extra; a winner of a Restricted race to carry 5lb extra; a winner of any other race 7lb; winners of any other races after 1st December 2016 to carry 3lb extra for each such win; maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb.
    Penalties are cumulative.

  • The PPORA Club Members CONDITIONS Race, 12st

    Any Novice riders in the first four past the post are eligible for the £1000 PPORA Novice Riders’ Championship Final, Grafton, Edgcote, Sunday 17th May; the first four horses and riders past the post score points in the PPORA Members’ Awards.
    For the R. GOODHAND CHALLENGE CUP, and Mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider.

    1st £170, 2nd £80, 3rd £50.
    For horses which on or since 1st October 2019 have not won any race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted) that are owned and ridden by current Members of the PPORA; Owners must be an eligible member of the PPORA by close of entries; Riders must be an eligible member of the PPORA by declaration of the horse. For information on how to satisfy these conditions, please refer to page 32-37.
    For each win on or since 1st October 2017 in a Steeplechase or Hurdle race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted) 7lb extra; for each win in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point in this period 5lb extra, and for each win in a Conditions, Club or Confined race in this period 3lb extra. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb. Penalties are cumulative.

  • The MIXED OPEN Race, 11st 7lb

    The first two past the post will qualify for the Mixed Open Final, Cheltenham, Friday 1st May, and the Skinner’s Ladies Open Final, Stratford-on-Avon, Friday 29th May.
    For the ANNE HAXBY PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP, and Mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider; the FIGHTING STAR CUP for the first Brocklesby-qualified horse past the post.

    1st £400, 2nd £200, 3rd £100.
    Riders who, prior to the Thursday before the date of this Point-to-Point Steeple Chase, have not ridden more than 5 winners under the Rules of Racing or the Rules of a recognised Racing Authority, Point-to-Point Steeple Chases or Arabian Horse Races 5lb.
    For a win on or since 1st October 2019 in an eligible Steeplechase or Hurdle race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted), or in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point, 3lb extra; for two such wins 5lb; for three or more such wins 7lb; maximum penalty to be carried is 7lb.

    The first three horses past the post, with the exception of four-year-olds, are eligible for the Intermediate Final, Cheltenham, Friday 1st May.
