The Cottesmore Point-to-point will be on 23rd November 2025 at Garthorpe racecourse, just East of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. Six races start at 12pm.

Owners will be given invitations to the hospitality area on declaration.

THE GARTHORPE BONUS

The four Point To Points at Garthorpe are sponsoring a Top Horse Competition over the coming 2025/26 season. They are putting up £2,000 which will be divided up giving the most successful horse £1000, the second, £650 and the third £350.

Points will be awarded to individual horses for each race as follows; First 10; Second 8; Third 6, Fourth 2; Also Ran 2. For a Walk Over a horse will be awarded 5 points. The winning horses’ connections will be presented with their cheques following the Quorn Point-to-Point on Saturday 25^th April.

The other 3 Point-To-Points at Garthorpe are the Cottesmore on Sunday 23^rd November, the Melton Hunt Club on Sunday 1^st February and the Belvoir on Saturday 21^st March.

Race 1: Four and Five years old MAIDEN Race, 2m 4f, 12st (SF 16)

For the GARTHORPE UNITED HUNTS CLUB MEMBERS SALVER and mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider. Mementoes to the winning owner and rider.

PRIZE MONEY: 1st £300, 2nd £120, 3rd £80. Total Prize Fund £500.

Race 2: The Ladies CONDITIONS Race (Level 2), 2m about 4f, 11st

The EASTERN TRAIL PERPETUAL CHALLENGE TROPHY for the owner of the 1st horse past the post. Mementoes to the winning owner and rider.
