• The PPORA Club Members CONDITIONS Race, 12st

  Any Novice riders in the first four past the post are eligible for the £1000 PPORA Novice Riders’ Championship Final, Grafton, Edgcote, Sunday 17th May; the first four horses and riders past the post score points in the PPORA Members’ Awards.
  For the GUY MORRISON CHALLENGE TROPHY, and Mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider.
  1st £170, 2nd £85, 3rd £45
  For horses which are owned and ridden by current members of the PPORA; Owners must be an eligible member of the PPORA by close of entries; Riders must be an eligible member of the PPORA by declaration of the horse. For information on how to satisfy these conditions, please refer to pages 32-37.
  For each win on or since 1st October 2018 in a Steeplechase or Hurdle race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted) to carry 7lb extra, for each win in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point in this period to carry 5lb extra, and for each win in a Conditions, Club or Confined race in this period to carry 3lb extra. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb. Penalties are cumulative

  The Riders of the first three past the post will score points for the Harley Racing National Novices Riders Championship.
  For the GENERAL JACK MEMORIAL CHALLENGE CUP, and Mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider.

  For riders who, up to and including 16th November 2019, have won not more than five races under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points included)
  A winner on or since 1st October 2018 of two races under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points included, Maiden and Hunt Members races excepted) to carry 3lb extra; of three or more such races, 5lb extra. Penalties are not cumulative.
