Power Walking for charity

Point-to-Point racing

Richard Power, lead Doctor at Garthorpe racecourse, is taking part in a 48-hour continuous relay walk of the Leicestershire Round over the weekend 17-19 June.  This is a 100 mile National Trail which, as the name suggests, goes round Leicestershire.  Richard is part of a team of friends and family who will be walking through the Friday night.

This year is the Centenary of my Rotary Club and we are raising money to completely redo the Visitor Centre in Bradgate Park, the home of Lady Jane Grey.  Our Patron is Sir David Attenborough who spent many hours of his childhood in Bradgate Park and he will be opening the centre in September.  Further information is on the JustGiving link below.  It would be very nice if you could make a contribution!
