Prime Choice of Horses on Offer through BIDPOINT
With limited Point-to-Point racing this weekend, BIDPOINT has still produced a catalogue of proven and potential horses that must be considered for purchase. The Tattersalls lreland bidding process is now open and offers the following:
Mr Mcgo
5yo Gelding by Touch Of Land – La Principal (Saddlers Hall)
This fellow looked a real danger before coming down at Punchestown but won impressively at Armagh on Saturday and looks a very exciting five-year-old.
Templehills
5yo Gelding by Kalanisi – Sissinghurst Storm (Good Thyne)
Ran a cracker when beaten eight lenghts in a decent maiden at Kirkistown last season with bumper form already coming out of that race. He returned to action at Armagh on Saturday and stayed on strongly to take second. He will be very hard to beat next time.
Sixteen Again
6yo Mare by Amadeus Wolf – Remiss (Indian Ridge)
This mare never seems to run a bad race and has some very smart track form. Her run behind Max Dynamite when beaten less than ten lengths stands out and she showed herself in top form winning at the weekend at Armagh on her Point-to-Point debut.
Ethan Edwards
7yo Gelding by Exit To Nowhere – La Principal (Saddlers Hall)
This fellow remains one of the most consistent horses in Point-to-Points at the moment and followed up a decent second at Punchestown with another third here. He could be one to step up when dropping back in trip. His run at Armagh on Saturday saw him make the running at a strong pace and still finish a decent third.
Cabragh
7yo Gelding by Old Vic – Satco Street (Satco)
This fellow is almost always novice ridden and has been placed on his last two starts. He looks set to open his account very soon. He was only 11 lenghts behind the useful looking MMD Sizer at Armagh on Saturday.
Glenabo Bridge
5yo Gelding by Witness Box – Last Of The Gyspes (Roselier)
This is a very sharp type with speed and a toughness that will see him win many races. He won on his debut at Bandon and saw off a real solid form horse in No Secrets Here. He looks an ideal hurdler in the making who has the attitude to win his share.
No Secrets Here
5yo Gelding by Kayf Tara – Lady Secret (Lord Of Men)
Three decent runs from as many starts for this gelding. He held every chance at the last in a Four-Year-Old Maiden at Tattersalls before being hampered and brought down. He was then second at Ballyvodock and filled the same position at Bandon. He is a consistent and tough sort who is taking his racing well and his maiden looks a formality in the near future.
All My Friends Say
5yo Gelding by Scorpion – Sounds Attractive (Rudimentary)
Showed a decent level of improvement from his debut at Tallow to finish third at Bandon. Looks to be going the right way.
Ruairis Cloud
7yo Gelding by Cloudings – Icy Belle (Glacial Storm)
Progressive sort who showed promise on his debut at Templenacariga in January before chasing home Kilcolman Hill at Tallow in early February. Continued the upward trend when winning his maiden at Bandon. Straightforward and tough sort who has the right attitude to win his share of races.
Royals And Rebels
6yo Gelding by Robin Des Pres – Native Deal ( Be My Native)
Having twice filled the runner up spot, this fellow gained the reward he deserved when winning his maiden at Bandon. He has already been second in a winners race and has the experience to step up to that level so looks a horse who could provide a lot of fun.
