The Woodland Pytchley Hunt Members Race will now be open to horses qualified with the Atherstone and Pytchley Hunts
The Woodland Pytchley Hunt Point-to-Point, taking place on Easter Saturday, 11th April, have updated the Conditions of their Hunt Race, opening up the race to horses qualified with the Atherstone and Pytchley Hunts in addition to the Woodland Pytchley, Fernie and Fitzwilliam (Milton) Hunt as was originally published.
Race 6, The Open Maiden race for Mares and Fillies, will now count towards The Jockey Club Mares Maiden Series.

For the CHARLES FOWLER CHALLENGE TROPHY to the Owner of the first Woodland Pytchley-owned horse to pass the post, and the FERNIE ROSE BOWL to the Owner of the first Fernie-owned horse past the post and the MILTON CUP for the first Fitzwilliam owned horse past the post. Mementoes for the winning Owner and Rider and a prize for the first heavyweight past the post.
PRIZE MONEY 1st £165, 2nd £85, 3rd £50, 4th £40. £50 and a bottle of Champagne will be awarded to the first heavyweight past the post. Total Prize Fund: £390
SPECIAL CONDITIONS For horses which have a current Hunter Certificate (which need not be registered) issued by the Woodland Pytchley, Atherstone, Fernie, Fitzwilliam (Milton) or Pytchley Hunts only and are owned by a Woodland Pytchley, Atherstone, Fernie, Fitzwilliam (Milton) or Pytchley, Member, Subscriber or Farmer. Where horses are syndicated, the lead member of the syndicate must be a Woodland Pytchley, Atherstone, Fernie, Fitzwilliam (Milton) or Pytchley Member, Subscriber or Farmer. The Heavyweight Section is from 13st, maximum weight to be carried 13st 11lb.
PENALTIES (Non-Heavyweight runners only) For first win on or since 1st October 2018 in a Steeplechase or Hurdle race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted) or in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point in this period to carry 5lb extra; for two or more such wins 9lb extra.
Penalties are not cumulative.
6TH RACE - 4.50pm The Jockey Club Open MAIDEN Race for Mares and Fillies only, 2m about 4f, 11st7lb.
Safety Factor 16.
The first three past the post will score points for the Jockey Club Mares Maiden Series.
