The Leicester Gondar Partnership

Leicester Gondar orthopaedic project

As we are all only too well aware, British pointing could not continue without the support of our medical teams.

Next year, more than ever, this will become apparent, as new regulations will now raise the standards of our medical cover to new levels, along with the associated costs.

It is only right, therefore, that we do our best to give a little back to our hard working doctors when we can.

Richard Power has been a Midlands Area doctor for many years, and has asked that we help him to publicise the work that his group are doing to improve orthopaedic care in Gondar, in the north of Ethiopia.

Richard begins to explain the project at about 2m 10s in the video and explains at the end how you can donate towards the charity in various ways. Please give generously if you can.

Belvoir at Garthorpe 2024 - Report

The ground at Garthorpe dried well throughout the week leading up to the 2024 renewal of the Belvoir point-to-point at Garthorpe on Saturday 23rd March, and a big crowd of racegoers braved some icy hail showers and a typically arctic prevailing wind and partied in the bar long after racing had finished.
